What we do

The service operates as follows:
-
Provides respite care, to people living with memory loss or disabilities.

The service operates at the business owners home, however we are able to provide one on one community respite care
-
The respite home will accommodate a maximum of two Clients at any one time.

Individualised activities are provided as per the Clients and/or Carers choices.

If a Carer would like one on one respite in their home or in the community, we are able to provide this service.

The opening hours are from 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
-
The services will be charged per an hour, on a fee for service basis.

Brokerage agreements can be arranged with service providers.
-
The service is fully insured as per aged care requirements.
-
The service operates within the various regulations, legislations, acts and standards in regards to aged care.

Our Home

The Respite home has easy access in and around the house and garden, to enable the Clients to wander safely.

The Respite home has a lounge room and outdoor area to give Clients privacy and space.

The toilet and bathroom are accessible for all people. The door has a safety lock.

There is a fire evacuation plan in place. This is for Staff and Volunteers to be able to evacuate Clients in the case of an emergency.

All the floors are tiled, except for the bedroom, which is carpeted. All outside, exit paths have artificial grass.

There is an air conditioning system to ensure the temperature is comfortable for the Clients.

There is a rear garden with flower pots for Clients to enjoy and for physical activities to be provided.

There is parking all along the road in front of the house.
